COBI President Raises Concerns Over Neglect of Industrial Areas in Jhajjar District
Praveen Garg, President of Confederation of Bahadurgarh Industries (COBI), said that the district administration is not paying any special attention to the development of 26 industrial areas of the district. Administrative officials of various departments have been informed about the problems several times but the problems remain the same. Regarding this, now he has sent an e-mail to the CM informing him about the problems of the industries in the district. Entrepreneur and COBI head Praveen Garg says that the administration does not have time for the industries in the district. Meetings are held regarding other types of schemes but there is never any mention of industries in any meeting or scheme. He said that thousands of industries are running in about 26 industrial areas in the district and lakhs of employees are working in them. The industries of the district also produce an annual production of about Rs 50 thousand crores.
The situation in some areas is worse. Rohad Industrial Area has 4 roads on both sides. Recently, after a lot of hard work, work started on one road but no one cares about the remaining 3 dilapidated roads. Similarly, Balaji Industrial Area and Surya Nagar Industrial Area, which have been established for the last 20 years and produce crores of rupees by thousands of employees, are still waiting to be legalized. The entrepreneurs of Udyog Nagar Northern Glass are also waiting for what is the future of them and their area. He said that a tender worth Rs 6 crore has been made for the old industrial area but the work is still stalled due to some paper reasons and the proposed store instead of the road on the green belt of the Public Works Department. According to the department, the work is almost finished but even 60 percent is not visible. Crores of rupees are spent in the name of cleanliness but still, cleanliness is not visible.
Sectors 16/17 and 4B built by HSIID are in the same condition. COBI head Praveen Garg said that a few months ago, electricity minister Ranjit Singh took a meeting on COBI invitation and there was an improvement in electricity. Union Minister Dr. Sanjeev Balyan also came and Chairman of Traders Welfare Board of Haryana Government Balkishan also came. Raised voice in front of them also and they fully helped in taking the issue of industries to the administration and government but the work has to be done by the officers but even then no special attention is being paid towards the industries. He said that the entrepreneurs here will also present their problems before the Chief Minister.
Thanks & Regards
