Empowering Industries: COBI Advocates for 24×7 Electricity Supply and Progress in Jhajjar District
Confederation of Bahadurgarh Industries (COBI) on 17.11.2023 met Mr. Ashwani Raheja ji, Director of North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation, Panchkula, and Mr. Yashveer Singh ji, Superintendent Engineer of Jhajjar district and Mr. Ajay Kohd ji, Executive Engineer of Bahadurgarh and North Haryana Electricity A monthly review meeting was held in the office of the Executive Engineer with all the senior officials of the Distribution Corporation to discuss the problems related to the electricity department of all the industries in the district. In this meeting, representing the industries of Jhajjar district, Confederation of Bahadurgarh Industries President Mr. Praveen Garg, General Secretary Mr. Pradeep Kol, Executive Member Mr. Ganesh Gupta, Mr. Purshottam Goyal, Mr. Rajesh Chopra, Sardar Gurmeet Singh, representatives of other associations Mr. Subhash Jaga, Mr. Pawan Jain, Mr. Narinder Chikara, Vikas Soni, Mr. Ajay Khattar etc. were present. In the meeting, 24×7 electricity supply to all the industries in Jhajjar district was discussed and details of the efforts being made by the department for this were given.
The share of industries in the revenue duty is about 40% but due to poor supply of electricity, the industries have to face huge losses. Last month, Honorable Electricity Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh ji came to Bahadurgarh and after listening to all the problems of the industries of Jhajjar district, he assured to solve them. Under the guidance of the Minister, efforts are being made to solve the problems of the industries in a proper manner.
Due to this, yesterday North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation also created a help desk for industries in the office of Bahadurgarh Executive Engineer. Confederation of Bahadurgarh Industries demanded from the Uttar Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation improve the power supply system and provide regular electricity to the industries 24×7 so that the production of the industries can increase which can also increase the income of our country and our country can double its income.
