COBI Urges Farmers to Avoid Protests in Jhajjar District
Hello,
Confederation of Bahadurgarh Industries, on behalf of the entrepreneurs and employees of Jhajjar district, on 14.02.2024, once again appealed to the farmer brothers not to come to Bahadurgarh again and snatch the employment of the industries and employees of Jhajjar district like last time.
The last farmer movement lasted for 378 days, whose main center was Bahadurgarh and Bahadurgarh is an industrial city where thousands of industries and lakhs of employees work. If a situation like last time again arises in Bahadurgarh, then the business and employment of the industries and employees here will come to a standstill.
Along with this, Cobi also requested all the 28 Sarpanches of Bahadurgarh constituency to talk to the farmer organizations so that our business and the employment of the employees can be saved and the situation will not be like before and the employees coming from other states and thousands of local employees will be saved. Don’t take away employment.
The industries were first hit by COVID-19 and immediately after that, due to the farmers’ movement last time, the industries had to suffer the loss of production worth several thousand crores.
Thousands of employees lost their jobs.
Industries are not only responsible for production and fulfilling orders, but they are also obliged to fulfill many other compliances like bank loans, electricity bills, ESI, PF, etc. Besides, an entrepreneur is also responsible for every employee working in his unit. Depending on their job and salary, employees take loans for home, children’s education or marriage, scooter, car, etc. This will also have a negative impact on the life and daily needs of the employees because their entire family depends on their salary. If the previous situation recurs, it will become very difficult for industries to continue running smoothly, which will have a direct impact on the lives of their employees.
Therefore, we are already taking action so that such situations do not happen again, to all industrialists and employees.
We request the government, farmer organizations, and local sarpanches to cooperate in saving the jobs of industries and employees.
We make a humble request to all the farmer brothers that please do not come to Bahadurgarh and hit the employment of the entrepreneurs and their employees, otherwise this time again it will be very difficult to recover from this blow and the biggest strength of our country is our youth. This will have a huge impact on their employment as well. This will be a big hindrance to the progress of our state and our country, hence it is very important to ensure that the previous situation does not arise again.
Gratitude
Team COBI
