GST Helpdesk Established at COBI Office for the VAT Settlement Under the OTS Scheme

The inauguration ceremony of the GST Helpdesk was organized on 12.01.2024 in the office of the Confederation of Bahadurgarh Industries. In the program, District Excise and Taxation Commissioner Shri N.R. Phule ji, ETO Dr. Naveen Nandal, Inspector Mr. Ishwar Balhara, Mr. Ashok Dalal, Mr. Sanjay Ahlawat.
Other distinguished GST officers were present. Also, the President of COBI Mr. Praveen Garg, General Secretary Mr. Pradeep Kaul, Treasurer Mr. Ashok Mittal, worker members of COBI and industrialists of Jhajjar district Mr. Surendra Vashisht, Mr. Deepak Sharma, Mr. Ganesh Gupta, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Mr. Sunil Garg, Sardar Manpreet. Singh, Mr. Rajesh Arora, Mr. Tarsem Arora, Mr. Atul Gupta, Mr. Kapil, Sardar Hardeep Singh, Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Jaipal Singal, Mr. Mahesh Kaushik and other industrialists were present. During the program, the industrialists presented their problems before the officials and the officials guided with great positivity.

Due to the efforts made by the Chairman of the Haryana Business Welfare Board, Shri Bal Kishan Aggarwal, the One Time Settlement Scheme for VAT was announced by the respected Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Manohar Lal ji and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Dushyant Chautala ji on 31.12.2023. This first helpdesk of Jhajjar district will be operated under this scheme to help the industrialists, which will be in the office from Monday to Friday from 4-5 pm. During this helpdesk, GST department officials will be present in the office of COBI.

This scheme has been run by the Haryana Government for 3 months through which the pending dues can be paid without any penalty or interest with a discount of up to 70%. This is a very golden opportunity for those who have issues related to VAT payable.
